Tom Balmer

Tom is a founder at Third Way Legal, and our sister business Montresor Legal. He has worked within the legal recruitment industry since 2001. Tom’s clients include top investment banks, asset managers and fin tech businesses along with selected law firms.

Outside work Tom enjoys exploring new ways to battle his waistline and pretending to be knowledgeable about wine.

Dr Priyanka Bawa

Priyanka joined Montresor as the Head of Research after finishing her DPhil in Social Policy at the University of Oxford, to expand the firm’s research and intelligence unit and conduct partner searches. 

An ESG specialist, Priyanka has been leading Montresor’s ED&I initiative to contribute meaningfully to the current discourse in the legal sector. In the past, she conducted diversity research in the environment sector and worked for governmental agencies and business consultancies. She is a part of Dell Women’s Entrepreneur Network and has previously been involved with the Dell Empowering Women Challenge, as a mentor. 

When not doing ‘people-research’, Priyanka can be found making complicated Excel sheets to plan elaborate home-cooked meals for her friends, watching University Challenge and Only Connect, or solving crosswords and jigsaws.
